summer is almost here and was so happy to be in town yesterday celebrating the spirit of nyc at puerto rican day parade with 2,000,000 others along fifth avenue
latin music, dancing and high spirits and pride were the order of the day
hip street fashion was every way you turned - can’t wait to do it all again in 2011

Hello there – sorry for the disappearance for a few days but its been INTENSE!!! and my internet connection blows in and out with the wind and tides – i have shot 5789 frames over the past 10 days and just posting a few randow shots of the characters strolling the streets of haridwar in anticipation of the second royal bathing day at the kumbh mela – the event itself is unbelievable – there are thousands of babas or sadhus here from all around india – have a look at some of them and let me know what you think

actually right now back in delhi for a quick stop-over and board the train to haridwar at 6am to experience the kumbh mela

the taj of georgetown
so…… before heading off to india had to come down to d.c. for some meetings – arrived at my hotel around 3pm this afternoon and already feeling the strong cultural and spiritual pull of india and a major destination point on my journey – what do i find? the taj right across the road from the hotel hear in georgetown – but will i have dinner there? check in later to find out
