  4. Hi David – you are right about the dreams – India is still there front and center and I suspect will never leave. I have posted a ton of photos in two galleries on my website – one called kumbh mela in stories and the other india in locations. There are alot of extras up there that i will cull over the next week or so but if you have a chance to look would be interested in learning your favorites

  5. Hi Marcy,
Just popped in to see what you’ve been up to!
Just gone back and looked at both your Holi collection and the Khumbh Mela series. I have to say the Holi one is by far my favourite of the pair and represents a more together mix of composition, colour and light…especially the light!
I am now disappointed with my India pictures as am with all of my pictures after a while!
One thing I am going to do on my upcoming sabbatical into photography is learn how to construct a story..hang on before that…learn how to find a story!
    Hope all is well.

  6. Hi DAVID – thanks for dropping by – and all is well! thanks for the thoughts on my holi vs kumbh meli galleries – i agree with the comments – the kumbh was a fantastic experience but quite difficult to shoot – did you by the way have a chance to check out the general india gallery under locaitons – i think you may some there more to your liking – i think you have to detach a bit from your images – they become too close and then are bound to disappoint but you should resist the temptation and please keep on shooting…..
