reception desk at the Uppal Hotel - New Delhi

Hello  Friends – just arrived in Delhi after a pleasant 14 hour flight from Newark.  Its 1am local time, smoggy, dusty and warm.  My driver unexpected stopped at a lovely shrine to Shiva on the ride to the hotel granting an auspicious welcome and start to my trip.  These sweet goldfish also were a treat on check-in at the hotel.  Flying to Varanasi early in the morning – check back in for a look at the burning  ghats and more
